After a tentative 2020, the Full Draw Film Tour is back on the road. The Tour brings hours of hunting films to cities across the country. This year the Tour will bring audiences hunting stories for several species. These include chasing mountain goats in Utah, Moose in Colorado, and several elk hunts.
Some of these films go beyond just hunting. Several take time to explore the conservation side of hunting and fishing. They show the in-depth process hunters and agencies use to ensure the conservation of game and non-game animals alike. In contrast, others look to explore the emotional aspects of hunting.
Tour Dates and Showtimes
The Tour will run across the length of the summer. You still have 6-8 weeks from the time of this story to catch the showings of these films. In the next couple of weeks, the Tour will swing east and stop in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Tennesse, and Missouri. At that point, the Tour will turn back west and hit Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas. After all that it will push further west and stop in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Hunting holds a special place in people’s hearts. However, it is misunderstood by many non-hunters. The Full Draw Film Tour is a great way to expose interested non-hunters to what hunters do and what they are about without them having to be in the woods. Some of the moments shared on the big screen take the audience into the elk woods. You see first hand the trials, the energy, and the emotional expenditure each of these hunts takes.
If nothing else, it’s a great way to get out and enjoy life with a room full of hunts after not having much of that last year.
