Creating and supporting some 171,000 jobs directly related to hunting and fishing. In addition to those jobs, a huge amount of money is put back into the economy, to the tune of $11.2 billion. Yes, billion with b. The numbers were gathered from the Michigan United Conservation Club, along with Michigan State University, and the C.S. Mott Foundation.
