2018 Nebraska antelope regs are now available for the 2018 hunting season. The season opens early, August 20th, with archery followed by muzzleloader and then rifle. Make sure and familiarize yourself with the regulations here before going afield.
I was staring at a group of elk early in my hunting career that had a big bull in the herd. I was hunting cows and wasn’t sure of the regulations in the general elk area I was hunting. Quickly I called my brother and he looked them up for me. But by the time I realized the big bull was legal the elk were three ridges over and on a mission. That’s why knowing the regs before you go out is key. Anyone else had an experience like this, or am I the only rookie here?
