NEBRASKA MULTI-SPECIES $10 LOTTERY TAGS – Residents and non-residents are eligible to apply for Super Tag and Combo Lottery permits. The application period opens at 1pm US central time on Jan. 2, 2020. The application period closes at 5pm (11:59pm if applying online) on July 3, 2020. Lottery permits are valid in 2020 and 2021. Open season dates and legally appropriate weapon stipulations apply. Winners will have to purchase a habitat stamp.
Nebraska may not be top of the list for western hunting, but for that reason it may be a sleeper state for great hunting. Nebraska hosts healthy populations of elk, deer and antelope. There are many outfitters in the state, but do your research on them.
There are two categories of permit available: Super Tag and Combo Lottery. Within each category, there are two types of permits: resident-only and multi-entry (open to residents AND non-residents). Only ONE permit will be authorized for residents and ONE for non-residents.
$10 Non-Resident Combo Lottery

- Includes deer, antelope and turkey.
- Good for two years: 2020-2021.

- Open to residents only.
- Includes deer, antelope and turkey.
- Good for two years: 2020-2021.

$10 Super Tag Entry
- Open to residents and non-residents.
- Includes elk, deer, antelope and turkey.
- Good for two years: 2020-2021.
- May apply multiple times.
$25 Super Tag Entry
- Open to residents only.
- Includes elk, deer, antelope and turkey.
- Good for two years: 2020-2021.
- May apply once per year.
- Residents may apply even if they have already drawn a bull elk tag.
Super Tag multi-species includes “one elk of either sex, one antelope or either sex, one deer of either sex and two turkeys (two in the fall season, two in the spring season, or one in each season). Only toms and bearded hens may be taken in the spring.”
Combo Lottery permits include “one antelope or either sex, one deer of either sex and two turkeys (two in the fall season, two in the spring season, or one in each season). Only toms and bearded hens may be taken in the spring.”
Residents may also apply for a Bighorn sheep Lottery. “Open only to residents of Nebraska, this lottery is offered when there is an opportunity for a hunter to harvest a full curl ram.”
