SECOND SHED HUNTER ATTACKED IN WYOMING-
A second shed hunter has been attacked by a grizzly in Wyoming. Earlier this month as reported by Ehuntr, Spencer Smith was attacked during a shed hunt near Sunlight Basin Habitat Area. Investigating the Attack
Wyoming Fish and Game officials are investigating the attack. The man was shed hunting in an area known for having good bear habitat. It looks to be a surprise encounter attack. The man stumbled into the bear and her cubs during his hike. Surprising the sow grizzly seems to have set off the attack. During the attack, the bear cause several non-life threatening injuries to the man. However, the man was able to kill the attacking bear. How the bear died is still under investigation at this time. Wyoming Fish and Game officials would like to remind you that even experienced outdoorsman can be surprised by bears. They also noted to be safe and stay alert while in bear country.
